The philosophy of being free of attachment is very deep. An intellect with faith is the ladder of becoming free from attachment.

The main bondage is that his soul lacks the power of controlling thoughts and so is in bondage to its own thoughts. There is the experience of dependence and outside influence. A soul caught in his bondage of thoughts creates many things, destroys them and tires itself in this wasteful activity. Then the heart shrinks and loses hope.
