Interesting Motivating Quotes !

Have you ever wondered why libraries have special atmospheres? They are places where many congregate but where silence is the code. Quietness in an atmosphere means there is the presence of quiet minds, and quiet minds are not only relaxed, they can concentrate easily and create more freely. Imagine you are in the library of your mind, browsing the accumulated wisdom on the shelves of your life - listen to the silence, be aware of the stillness. Now you can really listen. Now you can really hear. Now you can really think. Now you can create. And behold, you are an artist. Did you not know that silence and creativity are lovers?

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Courage is taking a step forward into an area of difficulty without a solution in mind, trusting that whatever help you need will become available.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Patience is a virtue and a power too. Patience tells us that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and that we get over there one step at a time. Patience teaches us not to rush. Knowing that there is a reason and a season for everything it enables us to smile at the challenges, realizing that there is an answer to every problem. And, even though we cannot see it, yet there is awareness that within every crisis lies an opportunity.

Good Inspirational Statements !

Just as the bird has to find the courage to let go of the branch in order to fly, so we also must let go of our branches if we are to know the exhilaration of soaring to the highest potential of our life. The branches we hold to are our inner attachments - our beliefs, ideas and memories. And then there are the outer attachments - people, possessions, positions and privileges are a few. But as long as we hold on to them we will live in fear (of letting go and loss) and we will never be free. And just watch those birds, by letting go of one branch they are able to spend the rest of their life alighting on a million other branches, and they enjoy the view from each. Are you flying and soaring in your life, or are you stuck on one branch, cursing others as they fly past. Go on, try it ...let go!

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Each day we all need to recharge our spiritual battery, otherwise the light of our consciousness becomes dim, thoughts become fuzzy, and decisions are impregnated with doubt. Power is available inside and outside. Inside us we have a spiritual centre, at the core of our consciousness, pure radiant spiritual light. This is what we are. However it is now blocked by our attachments, the record of all our life experiences and many learned beliefs and perceptions. Outside us we have the sun of spirit, the source, invisible to our physical eyes but only one second away when we are able to quieten and focus our mind. Meditation connects us to both sources of power - that's why meditation is the way to access the real vitamins and the minerals that spirit craves. The vitamin of pure love and the minerals of truth and wisdom. Take time to empower yourself today. Sit quietly and connect your mind to each source and allow yourself to recharge and renew.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Happiness is the art of living, the purpose of our existence. Happiness is the true index of quality of life. Without happiness, life is dry and meaningless. With happiness, life immediately becomes fulfilling and wonderful. Happiness is an infectious feeling that immediately lifts the sagging spirits of people. Happy people keep themselves happy because they know the little ways to appreciate themselves and to see the humor and magic in each moment.

Best Positive Sentences !

Sometimes people are not able to use their specialties. But even at such times if we have the ability to see their specialties, we will have the ability to give courage and enthusiasm to them. We can provide them with such an environment that allows their own growth. So whatever the circumstances may be, there is progress. When we are able to see the positive aspect of others, we can keep our mind free from a major portion of negativity. The potential of our thoughts can be used fully for our own inner progress and we can therefore make a contribution for the others too. This earns us blessings and good wishes from others, which further enhances our own progress.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Everyone naturally works for the benefit of the self and others. But sometimes we find that others are not able to appreciate our contribution. This is because we are not able to recognize the needs of the other person. So there is a tendency to ignore the needs of the other person. The one who discriminates well is able to understand the other person's need and give accordingly. So whatever is done naturally brings benefit for others. When we are able to bring benefit for the right person at the right time with the right thing, we are able to win the trust of the other person. We expect nothing in return, but have the satisfaction of helping at the right time.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Although we speak with a lot of logic and make the other person understand what we mean to say, we sometimes find that they are not as effective as they should be. Sometimes our words are also misunderstood and misinterpreted. So there are a lot of conflicts that rise because of this and spoil relationships with others. What we say is of course important, but much more important is how we say it and with what feeling. We need to keep ourselves free from any kind of attitude, when we have to say something to someone. This can happen when we have good wishes for others and thus we find that our words are effective.

True Motivational Thoughts !

As we mature spiritually there is less need to have our self-respect bolstered by praise and special attention. As our thought processes become more compassionate and less self-obsessed, we feel increasingly satisfied with our lives and ourselves. We relate to people more easily and feel no need to draw attention to our successes or complain about our problems.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

When you are aware and accept that everything around you is constantly changing, and that you have no control over 99.99% of it, you are able to embrace change like a close friend! Change is a like a river, constantly flowing and moving things around. The river of life is constantly bringing you ideas, people, situations - each one is an opportunity to be enriched or to enrich others, and to learn. Change is the play of the universe as it entertains us in the biggest light and sound show of all time. Why not sit back and enjoy the show!

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Generosity means more than just giving. It also means to cooperate with others. The greatest act of generosity is to see beyond the weaknesses and mistakes of others, helping them to recognize their innate value.

Famous Inspiring Quotes !

It is much easier to believe that it's snowing, than to experience the snow. If you just believe, you can stay inside, stay warm and avoid the cold. That's why people are led up the garden path by others beliefs. It's easier and warmer. And all this 'believing stuff' starts in kindergarten. In the context of your spiritual or personal growth, believe nothing, experiment and test everything, in the laboratory of your own experience. Only then will you be able to separate truth from falsehood, reality from illusion, and lead others with integrity. Challenge and check at least one belief everyday. And if it's found wanting, chuck it or change it. Challenge, check, then chuck or change, now that's a master at work.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

When we are living from our inner self, it means that we are focusing our attention on the internal and when we observe the external world around us, we do not get lost, threatened or frightened by the events. We remain stable and experience the feeling of security and tranquility. The biggest obstacle to Inwardliness is living in our senses - organs of sight, hearing and eating. We lose sight of our inner being. We look at things with feelings of desire, greed, anger, attachment or arrogance. We hear indecent or degrading talk. We utter harsh words or get addicted to the pleasures of the palate. Living in the outward is living far away from the state of inwardliness, the consciousness that brings us serenity, happiness and peace.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

An inner power needed to make accurate decisions is the power to tolerate. Tolerance is not about having to put up with or endure. It's about respect for difference. It is about being able to appreciate diversity, the beauty in that diversity and difference. We need confidence to allow others to do what they are doing. Rigidity is a sign of lack of self-confidence and self-respect. It is better to have peace with someone than to have 100 percent perfection and tension. The quality of interaction comes from our ability to stop (that is not to be affected or influenced by what the other is doing). When I learn to stop, then I become more perceptive of the situation and am able to do make the right decision.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Wonderful Positive Statements!

A compassionate person develops an eye for spotting the qualities that make each person special. Even when others are at their lowest ebb, it is possible to help them restore their self-belief by keeping a firm, clear vision of their goodness and specialties. Taking a gently encouraging approach, I must never give up on anyone.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Wherever I am is wherever I am meant to be, whatever I am doing is whatever I am meant to be doing and whatever everyone else is doing is exactly what they are meant to be doing - this is contentment. If you do want to change where you are, or what you are doing, the first thing is to be content with wherever you are and whatever you are doing right now! Paradoxically that's what attracts opportunities and invitations to be somewhere else! Why? Because you are a living magnet, and contentment is one of your most attractive qualities. And the law of attraction says that according to your dominant thoughts so you will attract the people and circumstances into your life. Being content right now attracts the best possible future.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Have you ever noticed that resistance leads to persistence. And behind all resistance is self-created fear. The only way to relax and stay relaxed is acceptance. You don't have to agree, or follow, or condone, but acceptance means you begin any interaction with a serenity, which invites others to engage with you. And out of engagement comes the satisfaction of creative expression and an enriching relationship. That's relaxation in action!

Excellent Motivating Sentences !

Purity of spirit is a beautiful state of being. It comes when we are willing to open our soul completely to the pure energy of God and let all the vestiges of negativity with us be gradually washed away. As purity increases, thoughts become simpler, fewer and infused with love and compassion for everyone we meet. Pure thoughts have remarkable power. Plans made in such a state of benevolence are blessed with success.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

When the auditors are coming, everyone is on their toes. It is time to give account of what has gone on. All the details we regarded as unimportant before now are most vital. It is easy to perform action but when it is time to give an account for those actions, unless we have done our best at all times, there is not a good feeling. To do our duty to ourselves, our country and to God is a good thing. To do our best at all times brings a blessing of peace of mind. Useless expenditure and wastage prevents us from doing our best. Even if we do not value materials, energy and time, the fact remains they are valuable and sooner o later an account has to be given one way or the other. We may feel that no one is aware of our wastage. Accounts are kept not only in books but also in the Laws of the Universe. Keep a check on yourself daily and you will find ways to eliminate wastage.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Everything depends on our thinking. If I think in the right way I will be light. If I think in a wasteful way I'll be heavy. Waste thoughts are dangerous. They waste my time. They allow the past to come alive, and then I forget the present and question the future.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Great Inspirational Messages !

When the soul goes deep into silence, easiness emerges. The deeper I go into silence, the greater will be my power of tolerance. It is in very deep, extreme silence that the soul becomes elevated. It is in deep, deep silence that God can come in front of the soul.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Think of those people you are giving some kind of help or support. Check if you are helping in such a way to make them independent or is your help making them dependent on you. Remind yourself that your aim in helping is to make people independent and strong in such a way that they are able to support others too. Remind yourself that your help should never make people weak.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Although there is an understanding of the need for being sweet in words and interactions, many times we find ourselves being rude to people. Although we try a lot to be nice and sweet (we are successful a few times too!) yet we are not able to sustain this all the time. There is some kind of negativity directly or indirectly expressed through our words and actions. This further creates negativity in our minds. When we are able to keep our mind sweet, i.e., free from any kind of bitterness or ill feelings, we are able to experience the beauty of life. There is no feeling of sorrow or negativity but the mind is nurtured to further positivity with everything that comes our way. So we are further open to all that is nice and beautiful and we express our own freshness and beauty in interactions. We are then able to experience constant growth and progress.

Magical Positive Thoughts !

Unhappiness is experienced when there is no newness in dealing with the variety of life's situations. We continue to think the same way and act in the same way, so we are caught up in the same vicious cycle. We are not able to see anything new in the new situations that come our way. These turn to burdensome thoughts that drain out positive energy. We experience a lot of happiness when there is newness brought in responding to situations. The potential and the energy of the mind is channelised in a positive way so there is an experience of fulfillment and satisfaction. The mind is not caught up with negative or waste but is busy trying for the best solutions in all situations, and life itself becomes more beautiful.

If we allow bitterness and resentment to fester inside, it will make my relationships guarded and unsatisfying. The more we close down to others, the more we become a stranger to ourselves.
