Remembering God Always Helps You !

We should ask ourselves, do we react to situations in a positive or negative manner? The way we react is very much dependent upon our mental attitude and this in turn is directed by our thoughts. Linking our thoughts to the problems that surround us brings unlimited tension and worry. By linking them to the subtle and powerful vibrations of the unlimited source of peace, tranquility and knowledge that is, God the Supreme, we automatically have a constant source of good uplifting vibrations which can settle our troubled minds. He is the Father of all souls, the one who is there to give help at any time. In a time where our thoughts wander with little or no direction, where we find it difficult to talk or relate to people, it is worth remembering that God, who understands us, is only a thought away.

Determination is an essential quality to nurture if we are to continue on our spiritual journey. Take Criticisms Positively !

Criticisms are good things. They help us look at ourselves, to check and improve. There are situations where you feel that nothing you say or do seems right, where there is constant criticism. How do we satisfy people at that time? We must first be satisfied with ourselves before we can satisfy others. If we do not have the power to quickly change the negative attitude of others, we must atleast start with ourselves. Change our attitude towards the one who is constantly criticizing. Live In The Present

There is no time like the present. The present provides opportunities for improvement because whatever step we make will either take us up or down, forward or backward. The present gives us the chance the chance to lay a brick for the future. The past cannot change, but the present brings with it the time to change, to build and improve - time to fill ourselves in the areas we are lacking. As the scene of life's Drama brings gifts with it, we must look for presents in the present. They are present, easily visible in light and easy scenes but cleverly hidden in dramatic scenes. To develop the habit of letting present become past without finding the gifts it has brought is to be a loser.

Sometimes, while doing even a special task, our consciousness tends to become ordinary because of negative feelings for the self or others. So there is a tendency to just perform action and finish the task at hand, which does not bring speciality and accuracy as much as it should. Whenever things don't go the way I want them to, I start thinking negatively and end up feeling low. The more I think negatively the worse I feel. The negativity inside me increases and I spread it around by reacting negatively with other people which in turn gets me depressed. I need to constantly remind myself that thinking is actually feeling. All I need to do is to control my negative thoughts and deliberately induce positive thoughts. Shoulder Your Responsibilities With Ease !

Our children, our work, are they a burden or a responsibility? If our responsibilities become burdens then it would seem that we are not content with our circumstances, and are hoping for a change. For things to be different there has to be a change whether in a gross way like change in location, or in a subtle, more meaningful way - change in attitude. For e.g. if you are given a job and told to complete it in 15 mins with no reason given for the job, your responsibility becomes a burden. Then you find out that the work is for a person whom you are extremely fond of, your attitude changes and your responsibility is no longer a burden; out of love you will finish the work faster.

With change in attitude there is improvement in every situation. Sometimes it only takes a thought to create a change in attitude, it is like a key. We often forget to use the keys we have. See how many keys you have to unlock the treasures of personality and use them as required. It is better to have responsibilities than burdens.
