We normally understand honesty to be free from lying or free from falsehood. So although we try to be honest at that level we are not able to sustain that, as we face challenges from the environment. True honesty is more connected with our innate nature, than just being free from lies. When we are honest we are able to see what we need to do according to the situation. We are able to bring about a change in such a way that we never repeat the mistake that we have committed.
