The one who is generous gets everything and is yet free from desires. When we are generous we would have no expectations from others or situations. Then we are able to appreciate all the good things that life brings our way. Also the more we are able to be beyond desires the more we find that what is right comes to us. When we find ourselves expecting something, we need to tell ourselves that we will surely get what is right for us. So we need not ask for anything, but enjoy and use everything that comes our way for our benefit and for the benefit of others.
