To take up responsibility is to be free from guilt. When there is the ability to take up responsibility, everything is done to one's best ability. So no mistakes happen, hence there is no guilt. Even when things go wrong the one who takes up responsibility does something to correct the situation. So such a person is also free from guilt. When we are able to take up responsibility for everything that happens in our lives, we are able to experience constant progress. So when big challenges come our way, instead of being afraid, we are able to remain positive and stable. This further keeps us away from guilt.
