Beautiful Inspirational Quotes !

To rise from the ashes:
learn from failure and bounce back stronger.
Strong enough to remain focused on success, despite setbacks.
Handle setbacks by seeing them for what they are;
temporary setbacks, not the end of the world!

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

"The road to happiness lies in two simple principles:
find what interests you and that you can do well,
and put your whole soul into it --
every bit of energy and ambition and natural ability you have."

~ John D. Rockefeller III

"Life has got a habit of not standing hitched.
You got to ride it like you find it.
You got to change with it.
If a day goes by that don't change some of your old notions for new ones,
that is just about like trying to milk a dead cow."

~ Woody Guthrie

Great Motivational Thought !

Normally we celebrate for sometime and at that time forget our worries. But once the celebration is over we come back to our routine thoughts. Celebration is seen as something temporary and is in the company of those dear to us. But not always do we get such a chance to celebrate. Hence we usually keep looking forward to some new celebration. Real celebration is to enjoy the beauty and joy of each and every moment. This moment is special and it is this moment that is the real celebration. Such celebration keeps us in constant enthusiasm. So we will stop looking for special occasions to be happy but will be able to make the best use of this moment and give others that experience too, instead of being dependent on others for celebration.

Be Enthusiastic And Create Enthusiasm In Others !

The one who is enthusiastic makes others enthusiastic too. The one who has this one speciality of enthusiasm, will be instrumental in bringing many other specialities. The words of such a person will fill others with courage and fill with hope, the ones who are hopeless. When we find someone who is not able to maintain his enthusiasm, it is good to remind ourselves that we are responsible for creating enthusiasm in others. When we take up responsibility in this way we will be able to finish laziness and carelessness within us and we will be enthusiastic too.

Think Positively About The Present !

The one who is simple is the one who is free from pain. When I am simple I am able to be free from pain or hurt even in adverse situations. I am able to take benefit from the wealth of experiences accumulated over the past without feeling the pain. With simplicity I know that I need to remember the past only to the extent that I have to learn from it. When something goes wrong and I find myself thinking about it again and again, I need to remind myself that all the past experiences are only for me to learn from them. The past is finished and I don't have to undergo the sorrow again thinking about the past repeatedly.

Cool And Calm Mind Gives You The Right Perspective !

The usual response to negative stimuli in the environment is to react negatively. The impact of such stimuli on the sense organs is negative, which brings out negative behavior too. The one who is able to spend a few moments in silence before responding to situations is to be a master who is free from negativity. When I am a master I am able to remain stable in all situations. I have the practice of calming my mind and looking at the situation in the right perspective. My mind grows strong in its commitment to peace and truth in action. I don't allow the sense organs work according to the previous conditioning. Instead I consciously monitor, giving them right direction.

Patience And Planning Helps In Removing All Obstacles !

Patience enables one to easily overcome obstacles. Usually, when faced with obstacles there is an urgency to remove it without any proper planning. That means we want to overcome the obstacle without putting in any effort. And when it is not possible, it tends to create impatience and frustration in us. It is important to do some internal work to overcome an obstacle. First, it is good to check to what extent there is faith in the self. With faith in ourselves, we need to plan out before we act to remove or overcome the obstacle and we will, then, find ourselves successful.

Inner Peace Is Required To Be A Peacemaker.

The first lesson on the path to becoming a peacemaker is to stop being at war with myself. In meditation I can retreat into the inner sanctuary of the soul and enjoy the tranquil flow of loving thoughts passing through my being. Only when the turbulence of my own mind has subsided can I make peace with the world. When I have developed some degree of inner peace I can hear the voice of my own wisdom and know how and where to give energy for the greatest benefit.

Always See Good In Everything !

We are usually controlled by our sense organs. For example, whatever our eyes see, we are distracted with that. Thoughts continue to wander in that particular direction and we have no control over them. At that time even if we do try to control, we find it very difficult. The stimulus the sense organs get is not in our hands, but how we choose to respond definitely is. So we need to give the training so that we see only positivity in everything, i.e., we also have the power to transform even negativity into positivity. Then at the right time, this training will help us keep our sense organs under control.

Maintain a Continuous Flow Of Positivity Towards Yourselves !

Success comes to the one who absorbs only the good and positive aspects. The one who has the power to absorb, naturally absorbs only the positive aspects of everything he comes into contact with. So the response too is always positive. Never is there reactions towards difficult situations or people, but there is the natural ability to absorb all that is good and respond positively accordingly. Once we instill the habit of seeing only the positive aspect in everything, we find ourselves getting free from negativity. It is like filling in fresh water into a pail of dirty water. When there is a continuous flow of fresh water into even the most dirty water, gradually the water getting purified. So too we find ourselves getting internally cleansed of all negativity with a continuous flow of positivity.

Connect With God To Experience His Love !

The one who understands God's love is himself loving too. The one who understands that God has love for all children, never hates anyone, however negative the other person's characteristics might be. There is the understanding that it is not the person who is negative, but it is only a negative quality working within that person at that time. A loving person's love discourages the other person to use the negativity and encourages to use the positive qualities instead. When we are connected with God, we are able to experience His love. Once we understand and experience His love, we are able to remain loving too - even with the most difficult people. We are then able to have good wishes for all, understanding that our love will make them positive too. We are never caught up with anyone's negativity, but are always happy as we only interact with positivity.

Move Forward In Life To Discover A New Learning !

We should have courage to work on the self is to find the beauty within. Situations come that challenge one's own strength. At such times the mind tends to become weak displaying weaknesses. Then there is no courage to look within. The one who is able to be introspective at that time is able to find a new learning. He is thus able to express the beauty that is lying within. When we understand that at each step of our life, situations come to bring out some quality from within, we'll never be afraid of situations. We'll have the courage to challenge our own assumptions and move forward based on the learning that we get and the beauty that we have been able to discover.

Rely More On Internal Peace To Bring About A Positive Effect !!

Peace is found within but not outside. We are peaceful beings but external situations pull us away from our peace if we let them. When there is not a very positive situation that we are confronted with, we need to save ourselves from the pull of the outside situation and rely on the peace within. Every morning let us practice being a peaceful being, who is totally in charge of ourselves. When we make this practice firm, when difficult situations do come we will be able to rely more on our internal peace instead of getting carried away by the external situations.

~ Brahma Kumaris, Mt Abu.

Take Good Care Of Your Greatest Treasures !

If we recognize inner treasures we will be able to use them well. Time, energy and thoughts are one's greatest treasures. The ones who recognize these treasures are able to look after them carefully and use them for the benefit of all. None of these inner resources are ever wasted. When these treasures are used properly and are put to full use, they bring in the best external treasures too. When I am in touch with myself and give attention to myself, I am able to recognize these inner treasures. These treasures keep me rich at all times, even when external circumstances are not so favourable. Further use of these treasures makes me only richer and richer.

Intelligent Thought For Constant Self-Progress !

Normally we tend to associate success with what we get, rather than how much effort we put in. So sometimes when things don't turn out the way we expect them to, we tend to have negative feelings because of the thought of being unsuccessful. So we tend to stop putting in further efforts for success. When we put in accurate efforts for the success of every task, we naturally try to do the best. Because of our own contribution, others too help us and contribute whatever they can to achieve what we set out to do. So there is success in everything. When we do the right thing, we will be able to experience constant self-progress, even if the result is not what we have expected.

Take Critizisms Positively !

Criticisms are good things. They help us look at ourselves, to check and improve. There are situations where you feel that nothing you say or do seems right, where there is constant criticism. How do we satisfy people at that time? We must first be satisfied with ourselves before we can satisfy others. If we do not have the power to quickly change the negative attitude of others, we must atleast start with ourselves. Change our attitude towards the one who is constantly criticizing. Adopt more positive approach. Positive thoughts, words and actions will eventually bring positive results. Continue acting in this Godly manner. Atleast God will be pleased with you.
